Abstract
Despite research over the past decade showing that today’s students learn more and better when lessons are taught with technology, schools and classrooms are not embedding technology into activities, projects, and lessons. Barriers to technology integration include the lack of knowledge of hardware and software programs available, the lack of funds available in which to purchase effective software and updated hardware, and the lack of professional development time to identify, learn, and apply technology tools to current curriculum. The purpose of this paper is to share the top technology tools we have found that are free and intuitive to use.
