Abstract

This paper examines the development, implementation and evaluation of an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) program in teacher education at the University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan. The Information and Communication Technology in Education High Diploma program provided an opportunity for K-12 teachers in Jordan to extend their teaching practice to include the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) knowledge, tools, and skills within the curriculum they presently teach. Pedagogical issues including classroom management, lesson preparation, and integration strategies surrounding technology were a large concern during the development of the ICTE program as well.
