Abstract
Educational infographics is seen as a tool which is used to support in-class and out-of-class learning activities.It is a tool especially to be used in knowledge sharing in virtual communities and social construction of knowledge in social media.In this study,pre-service teachers’ opinions about the use of infographics were examined.The study was carried out with 39 participants and qualitative data analysis method was adopted.Results show that its use is possible in every field.Its primary benefits are listed as supporting the content/teaching with visual presentation,giving succinct narration,helping students consolidate learning and attracting the attentions of the students.In terms of its disadvantages,participants stated that it does not represent the whole content and requires designers to have certain knowledge and skills.An ideal design of an infographic will be presented.
