Abstract

This paper investigates how students use mobile devices to seek out additional information or instruction outside of class materials by watching instructional videos with the aim of increasing their understanding of particular class concepts or processes. Through survey research, this study investigates the frequency of seeking out this additional information on a mobile device, and determines if there is a relationship between mobile device use and positive student attitude in college students. Results from this study were significant and show a strong positive relationship between the two variables, watching video through mobile learning and students’ positive attitude. This research can provide more information about factors in mobile learning and use of mobile devices to enhance learning so that educators can better understand how to incorporate mobile learning into their classes.
