Abstract

Students in a decision making class used a robotic car developed to decide and carry out the car’s optimal performance. The robotic car has a motor-wheel drive train controlled by an embedded processor, and moves according to movement sequences preprogrammed by the students. The students installed their own programs into the robotic car and evaluated other students’ driving as well as their own by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Consequently, students began to consider many issues. It was concluded that the robotic car system can be adapted to collaborative studies and international exchange studies, and is very useful in a decision-making curriculum.
