Abstract

This study explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools on the learning outcomes and course satisfaction among preservice teachers. Conducted within the context of EDG4444 - Instructional Design and Classroom Management at the University of South Florida, the research compares the performance and satisfaction levels of two groups of students: those who used AI tools and those who did not. Using a combination of classroom management project scores, course satisfaction surveys, and standardized university evaluation forms, the study provides a data-driven insight into the efficacy of AI integration in teacher education. The results indicate a significant improvement in both academic performance and course satisfaction among students using AI tools, underscoring the potential of AI in enhancing educational methodologies.
