Abstract

VHS has long been available to teacher educators as a tool for teacher preparation and work with children. With the availability of digital video and iMovie the ability to author and edit tapes has greatly expanded. With the increase in the power come new and exciting opportunities for teacher educators to develop their own video for their own courses. In this session, three faculty members from Bank Street College will share their prototype uses of such digital video and describe their experiences in developing and using these videos.
