Abstract

This paper will present the author's experiences of design and implementation of an online course "Counseling and Information Technology." There are three dimensions in this course: (a) the theoretical framework consists of counseling theories and technology integration theories; (b) school counseling contents include the techniques, procedures, methods, and activities for clinic counseling, online/distance counseling, individual/group counseling; and (c) the technologies used to conduct counseling in different format. Issues and some useful tips in the design and implementation of the course will be discussed.
