Abstract
A key component in developing an effective e-learning course is assessment. Online tools offer opportunities for more comprehensive formative and summative assessments than conventional methods. The presenters will facilitate an interactive discussion of various methods for assessing in-depth knowledge of course content. The audience will be introduced to a variety of strategies and tools for creating assessments in the e-learning environment. Discussion of concerns and issues will be followed by solutions and examples of successful implementation for e-learning assessment.
