Abstract

Education has been an equalizing factor in development irrespective of your background. It is common place today to find job openings being filled by non-locals and also being advertised internationally. The computer ,the internet and related technologies continue to have an impact on any economy and their role in higher education can not be ignored especially in developing countries. Living and working in Zambia in the education industry , it is worrying how we are mismanaging our human capital and underutilizing technology in Learning . in an era of life long learning we can no longer afford to ignore these technologies but is the west ( developers and manufactures) doing enough to educate us on how to integrate technology without compromising the quality of our output.
