Abstract

It is possible to improve students' skills in ICT and their mathematical way of thinking by analyzing various kinds of phenomena. Several educational practices were conducted and analyzed mathematically to deepen students' understanding of phenomena. Manufacturing classes and experimental classes are indispensable. A learning model using a robotic car was constructed. A robotic car with one-chip microprocessor and a limited electric power is used to move a car. Students are able to consider given problems regarding electronics and mechanics, and solve them through experiments based on empirical data.
