Abstract

Impatica for PowerPoint is a tool that allows course authors and content specialists to publish their work directly to the Web, without the need to involve graphic designers and Web programmers, saving valuable time and greatly increasing productivity. Multi-media content created with Microsoft PowerPoint and including narration, animations and embedded video is converted to a highly compressed format that can be played back from almost any Java-enabled Web browser over low-bandwidth connections, and without the need to download plug-ins or install additional software. Impatica for Director provides similar capabilities for presentations created using MacroMedia Director. Impatica OnCue is a professional course development tool that adds talking-head video, narrative script and powerful navigation tools to PowerPoint and Director presentations.
