Abstract

The following paper is a literature review of research on mobile learning applications and their use in teaching mathematics. Mobile learning is described in terms of its evolution to mobile seamless learning (MSL). Design principles are suggested as we attempt to determine what is the basis for MSL for mathematics in both primary and secondary education. Benefits are detailed and suggestions are made. The ultimate aim of MSL is to make mathematics more accessible to more students.
