Abstract
Abstract: Information and communication technologies affect our lives gradually. Individual’s professional life like their daily life are affected by technology, also educational settings are affected by ICT’s. Defining freshmen’s beliefs about ICT is important to provide good ICT opportunities and prepare next generation teachers. This study seeks to define freshmen’s belief’s about ICT usage in K-12 and university settings and how they describe technology? Since it is aimed at determining understanding of freshmen’s understanding about ICT and its usage in educational settings , it is a “descriptive” study. In order to obtain research data a survey was developed by researchers. The target population of the study was all freshmen’s who were enrolled at one of Turkish college of education. Data were obtained target population and analyzed as quantitative and quantitative base. Analyzed data will be interpreted and findings are revealed.
