Abstract

When working with ICT in education, it is important to understand that you do not always need complicated tools to develop effective ICT material. Be creative and use the resources that you already have. Think out of the box, so that the content you use is specifically designed to reach the goals you have in mind. Additionally, taking into regard some of the basic pedagogical principles when working with ICT is needed. In this "best practice" session we show you how our teacher training institute uses software to create content that can be integrated easily in the electronic learning environment. Using Clip Art in PowerPoint together with OneNote and Artweaver. Using MS Word objects for hyperlinks in the electronic learning environment, integrated with GoogleDocs in the Elo. Create personal video messages with Adobe Presenter for communication in the electronic learning environment. Using eXe learning paths in Articulate Presenter '09 for a centralised learning path objects.
