Abstract

Graduate school of education at Shinshu University is one of the grantees of “Support Program for Improving Graduate School of Education” funded by Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology(MEXT) and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science(JSPS). The aim of our project is to enhance inservice teachers’ professional growth through lesson study which is based on collaboration between inservice teachers and university professors. For effective lesson study, we applied HDTV-based videoconference system. At the E-Learn Conference, we would like to share and discuss the effective application of HDTV-based video conference system for inservice teacher education in graduate school of education.
