Abstract
Web 2.0 tools including blogs, wikis, podcasts, and folksonomies provide opportunities for knowledge building and collaboration for higher education in the 21st century. This presentation will explore the potential of these tools in the context of online learning in higher education. The combination of these tools along with learning anytime/anywhere using distance learning technologies will change the face of higher education and provide significant opportunities for educational reform at all levels.
