Abstract

Azerbaijan and the U.S. faculty will present and discuss their efforts to establish a Distance Education Center. The DE Center will support faculty at 15 universities in developing and delivering DE through face-to-face consulting and online courses on DE. Issues in course design, pedagogical perspectives, and cultural contexts will be discussed. The presenters will also discuss the issue of conceptual change involved in this effort; the government of Azerbaijan seems.
