Abstract

Individuals responsible for supporting new faculty who work in online environments seek effective strategies to streamline onboarding as well as continual support. Mentorships that incorporate technology tools, learning management systems such as Blackboard and web meeting providers such as Zoom, assist in this undertaking. These tools provide a platform to convey essential elements like student communication, scoring calibration, and technology trainings as well as provide a place for discussions within large group meetings, program meetings, course meetings, and one-on-one mentoring conversations.
