Abstract
As increasing number of students are engaged in learning opportunities and real-life experiences beyond the classrooms, it is important to adequately recognize their efforts and achievement. For the new generation students, digital badges can offer an effective tool to keep the records of their work, reflect upon the outcomes and achievements, and share their achievements, experience, and skills beyond their campus, such as potential employers and community partners.
