Abstract

California State University Bakersfield has designed an extremely innovative form of professional development for educators of English Learners and teacher candidates, which is available anytime, anywhere, and at no cost to the user. Called Online Language Learner Educators or Online Peer Coaching, the website (www.projecttnt.com) highlights short video clips of teachers implementing their best English Language Development and Sheltered Language instructional strategies which they are using with their English Learners. The possibilities for collaboration and dissemination are endless as the number of video clips on the website grows exponentially on a yearly basis. This video presentation will address sample video clips and the video taping and editing process.
