Abstract

Abstract: Microsoft PowerPoint is often thought of as presentation software, aimed at educators and business professionals who want to display information as it is discussed. Fortunately for teachers, Microsoft PowerPoint holds a great deal of potential for interactive instruction. Gone are the days of static presentations, now is the time to engage learners by developing modules that can be used in virtually any content area. All modules can be aligned with NETS standards and curriculum standards. This paper will share the possibilities that Microsoft PowerPoint holds for professors and K-12 teachers who want to use technology to supplement their teaching.
