Abstract

In this study, QOL desired by students as well as behavioral elements and specific factors to accomplish it were researched for the purpose of preparing a questionnaire on living activities to support the student life at an undisclosed university in Tokyo. Third-year students spent sufficient time for discussion, and items raised as QOL were categorized into four types. Next, behavioral elements to accomplish these types of QOL, and predisposing, reinforcing and enabling factors were brought up. These factors were rewritten into questions to prepare a questionnaire. Furthermore, the validity of this questionnaire was confirmed targeting second-year students. The method suggested in this study is based on a very novel idea that students themselves prepare factor analysis to improve QOL. Items in the questionnaire were published on e-Portfolio of the relevant university. By using the method indicated in this study, each university will be able to support student life.
