Abstract
Developing lessons that are web-based and easily accessed by students can be challenging, particularly if a course management system is not employed. For the instructor who needs an inexpensive and effective individual or group activity promoting information literacy, content mastery, and higher level thinking, WebQuests may be that 'lesson in a box'.
