Abstract
Abstract: This project provides a modern protocol for providing developmental math instructions that will aid not only high school students, but non-traditional learners as well. These skills will increase students' admission possibility and provide an opportunity to receive remediation. The course will impact student's entry into 4 year institutions in Louisiana as a result of new admissions criteria. The course will provide opportunities for students to prepare for the ACT™ Compass® exam as well as gain essential math skills needed for high school graduation. It will be offered though the university course management system and will feature asynchronous discussion, assessment features and tutorial components.
