Abstract
This paper will present the concept of virtual teams (VTs), that is implemented across numerous organizations, but will specifically focus on multi-national corporations (MNCs). The purpose of this paper is to understand the efficiency of these teams, the issues that encompass them and the issues that create hindrances to their effective implementation. A literature review will be conducted in which many research articles will be explored in order to understand the origin of these teams, their evolution, current day best practices, and limitations. Areas with scope of improvement, and future study will then conclude the paper.
