Abstract
: Software education emphasized in the fourth Industrial Revolution is becoming more important not only in information technology education but in other subjects, as well. A need for SW teacher training is therefore more pressing among non-informatics teachers than their more technologically inclined counterparts. In this study, we developed a teacher training course using robots to teach non-informatics (NI) teachers and measured improvements to teaching efficacy among participants. Post-test scores were significantly higher than pre-test values. The course using robots for NI teacher training in this study demonstrated a positive influence on the information technology knowledge of teachers who took the course.
