ARTICLE

EDUCAUSE Review Volume 40, Number 6, ISSN 1527-6619

Abstract

Podcasting, by definition, combines "iPod" with "broadcasting," and has the advantages of ease of publication, ease of subscription, and ease of use across multiple environments. This article discusses how those in higher education can determine the potential uses and value of podcasting, which, done well, can reveal to students, faculty, staff, and communities the essential humanity at the heart of higher education.
