Abstract

Discusses gender-related differences in performance and interaction styles in computer-supported learning (CSL) environments. Presents a summary of gender-related issues identified by international research and academic practice together with opinions expressed in an online discussion forum, and offers suggestions to increase the flexibility of CSL courses to offer more equal opportunities to all students.
