Abstract
We have developed a web-based electronic portfolio, called CoCoFolio, for enriching students learning by collaboration. It consists of two collaboration tools: a multi-layered drawing tool, called gCollaBoard h, and a small bulletin board, called gCommunity Board h, for each student fs submission. These tools support a series of expression activities: expression, sharing, peer-review, coaching, and reflection. CoCoFolio was implemented in two applications, in a university and in a junior high school, and it was found to improve students f motivation, increase students f knowledge through peer collaboration, and improve their learning process.
