Abstract
For the past four years Hofstra University has conducted a teacher enhancement project entitled “Leadership in Middle Grade Mathematics” (LIMM). This is a one–half million dollar project, funded by the National Science Foundation , effective June 15, 1992 through November 30, 1996. The co–principal investigators are William J. McKeough (mathematics education), David Knee (mathematics), and Sharon Whitton (mathematics education), all professors at Hofstra University.
