Abstract

As technology continues to redefine the educational experience, departments are seeking methods and environments to better acquaint perspective and existing students with their programs information, opportunities and faculty availability. The purpose of the Online Learning Technologies Experience (oLTECx) was to introduce and orient users to the Department of Learning Technologies (which recently moved to a new location), presenting information on the department, on faculty and research interests through an online virtual environment that recreates the offices space. This poster will focus on the transition from 2d web delivery to a 3D environment.
