Abstract
This paper shows the development of a distance learning web-based platform to simplify and improve the teaching of building simulation using the PowerDomus hygrothermal and energy simulation tool. A graphical organizer is created for the comprehension of the simulation tool structure and its applicability, distributing information by progressive steps and by crossed links. The tutorial development is structured for an easy understanding of the applicability of the teaching system by defining teaching goals that integrate knowledge related to concepts, procedures and a specific database included in a building simulation tool. The integrated vision of this pedagogical-oriented, intuitive and user-friendly graphic teaching engine eliminates fragmented and modular information, providing an educational web-based platform for stimulating the comprehensive memory, concept interaction and learning management by students of different instructional levels.
