Abstract

Bror Saxberg is Chief Learning Officer for Kaplan, Inc., a subsidiary of the Graham Holdings Company (NYSE: GHC) and a leading global provider of educational services, offering post-secondary education, test preparation, professional training, and K-12 programs. Saxberg is responsible for the research and development of innovative learning strategies, technologies, and products across Kaplan's full range of educational services offerings. He also oversees future developments and adoptions of innovative learning technologies and maintains consistent academic standards for Kaplan's products and courses. In this interview, he discusses the book he co-authored with Rick Hess, "Breakthrough Leadership in the Digital Age: Using Learning Science to Reboot Schooling," and the role technology plays in education.
