National Culture and Learning Style Preferences in E-learning

Abstract
To better understand the difference of learning style preferences in E-learning, the National Culture and Learning Style Preferences in E-learning (NCLSPE) dimension was constructed by applying the Kolb Learning Style Inventory dimensions and Hofstede’s dimensions of national culture. At this stage, the NCLSPE dimension was constructed and will be explained in this paper. The future work is the validation. The findings provide E-learning stakeholders information on which aspect of culture affects particular learning styles which may encourage stakeholders to construct responsive E-learning environment with learners’ learning style preferences for each country.
