Abstract

This study intended to identify the concept of technology readiness and to create a scale for measurement. The purpose of the study was to development a technology readiness scale for teacher. The population was junior high teachers in Taiwan, R.OC. The methodology of this study included a literature review and standard process of scale's development.According to the literature review, the definition of technology readiness is the preparing status on psychology before he/she engaged in technology action. The draft of high-tech measuring scale was developed based on the standard data collected from junior high schoolThe result of this study demonstrated that technology readiness scale consist of three aspects of technology readiness, they are technology procedure readiness, technology knowledge readiness and technology context readiness.
