Abstract

Nearly a decade ago, the Texas State Legislature enacted laws to accelerate the integration of technology into public education. Funding agencies have increased investment to build technology infrastructure in Texas. This study indicates that the telecommunications infrastructure in the public schools across Texas has changed significantly, and teachers' technology professional development activities have increased.
