Abstract
The Information Superhighway has led us into dizzying forays in cyberspace: we surf the Web, browse gopherspace, use ftp to transfer files, and communicate through e-mail and computer conferencing. We are reminded daily of the ever-changing nature of the Internet. However, because “no broad-based culture exists yet for distance education” (Bonham, Cifuentes, & Murphy, 1995, p. 614), we construct and re-construct our vision of the Internet as a teachinglearning tool. This paper identifies for teacher educators and graduate faculty a variety of approaches for accessing and disseminating instruction using the Internet. We offer a variety of Internet teaching-learning activities that represent our current vision.
