Abstract

At DePaul University, we use PeopleSoft Campus Solutions version 9 as the system of record for student records. The School of Education’s need for assessment tracking was fulfilled through a customization of the ERP grade book functionality in 2005. When we committed to an implementation of an e-portfolio system in 2008, we wanted to keep the assessment tracking in our ERP. We also required the e-portfolio account creation process to be driven by enrollment data fed from the ERP. This session discusses how we connected our e-portfolio to our ERP. We will focus on the overall structure of the customization and the integration process.
