Abstract

This study reviews the authors’ documented structure created for the first two phases (Analyze and Design) of the ADDIE instructional design model. As background, the previously reported analysis context is presented, followed by the focus for the current emphasis – the Design phase. Two research-based dissertations, which incorporated the tasks for their ID products’ development, are detailed. Data was analyzed for face and content validity through the Delphi technique. Two panels, one comprised of subject matter experts (SMEs) and one with instructional design experts (IDEs), were engaged in the review of the 14 tasks for the Analyze phase and the seven tasks within the Design phase.
