Abstract

In 2001, the administration and faculty at The University of Findlay made a commitment to actively pursue curricula that view communication and multimedia technologies as indispensable tools facilitating inquiry-based, experiential, and dynamic learning. This was based on the belief that fostering the development of students, both educationally and socially, is critical to the future of our global society. Our faculty recognized that a learning environment, infused with the most current educational technologies is essential. A grant awarded from the U.S. Department of Education's PT3 program supported the process of building a community of learners and transformation of the University in terms of teaching, learning and technology.
