Abstract

This study focuses on the skills needed to be an effective learner, in an online collaborative learning environment. Sixty-five graduate students in the school of Health Professions at Tel Aviv University, Israel, participated in this study. All the students took classes that required on-line collaborative projects. In a questioner, students were asked to identify skills and attributes, that they believe, are needed to become an effective participant in an on-line collaborative project. The data was analyzed and a profile of such a team member was compiled.
