Abstract

This paper describes the design, development, delivery and evaluation of a Web-Based Instruction (WBI) course which has been designed to support a large number of students (approximately 700 per term). The paper describes the course philosophy, purpose and design, but concentrates on the issues that must be addressed when designing WBI courses for large groups of students.
