Abstract

This paper provides a global focus on the AIDS pandemic via an undergraduate online course, which utilizes numerous resources and safer sex education at a liberal arts college. This technology focused course required participants to use familiar tools including PowerPoint, the Internet, YouTube.com, Turnitin.com, as well as an integrated learning platform, Moodle, which provides video and online reading links, discussion forums, reading commentaries, class email access, the syllabus, educational exercises, podcasts, online paper submission, and more.
