This statement, formerly known as “Beliefs about Technology and the Preparation of English Teachers,” was updated in October 2018 with the new title, “Beliefs for Integrating Technology into the English Language Arts Classroom” on the National Council of Teachers of English website at http://www2.ncte.org/statement/beliefs-technology-preparation-english-teachers. Originally developed in July 2005, revised by the ELATE Commission on Digital Literacy in Teacher Education (D-LITE), October 2018
