
Professional Development Activities to Support Technology Integration Practices

Abstract
Students are gaining access to technology, but teachers may not have the training to support them to effectively integrate educational technology tools into the classroom. Situated professional development can be used to provide the support teachers need. This means teachers receive support in the areas that they need and want? just-in-time support. In this paper, a situated professional development course will be described, along with three activities that supported the individual needs of the teachers: low-risk activities, allowing for voice and choice, and play and learn sessions.
