Abstract

This paper provides a discussion of the findings of an evaluation of educational technology projects across a rural western state. Twelve educational technology implementation grants were awarded to eleven different school districts and one consortium. Each grant was unique in its activities and its implementation. The evaluation uncovered differences in philosophy and approach to educational technology integration, especially in the frontier and rural districts. Those discoveries and their implications for technology integration are discussed in this paper.
