Abstract
PIM challenges are continuously increasing as are the number of PIM tools and solutions for organizing and storing personal information items. We believe that a critical examination of PIM tools can help to enhance learning by raising awareness to the personal information space; we have designed a PIM workshop for educators and students with the goals of increasing awareness to PIM as a central activity in learning contexts and of facilitating a critical view of PIM tools.
