Abstract

E-Learning applications are presently in approximately 60% of Post-Secondary Education (PSE) institutions in Canada. There are many barriers to successful implementation of E-Learning in the PSE sector. This paper provides excerpts from a Government of Canada report on E-Learning, which outlines these barriers as well as recommendations for overcoming them with the support of a national agenda, funding priorities, and policy leadership.
