Abstract
A global university requires educational experiences that internationalize the curriculum and actively shift the pedagogy. Our university of technology is committed to building a 'global passport' for students and strategically developing the local (Melbourne, Australia) and international (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) campuses as twin hubs, linked and supported by high quality information and communication technologies. The aim of this paper is to introduce a current teaching and learning project that explores student use of digital publishing technologies and communicating virtually across two international campuses. The project is designed to enable students to develop digital publishing capabilities, create image-based works, collaborate with other learners, and communicate creative ideas and new understanding. It provides faculty and students with real-life learning and social experiences in a modern global context, and the opportunity to engage in a worldwide knowledge network.
